First and foremost, Arcane Spellbinder does not need any personal data to function. However, to optimise your experience you can create an account on our platform where some personal data (optional) will be processed. This affects your privacy. In this privacy policy you find what data we collect, how we use it and how you can check the data we process about you and how you can delete this data if you want that.
What data do we collect and why?
When you are using our platform:
Initially we do not use any personal data. You can use the entirety of the platform without leaving any information. Even if you want to make an account we still do not ask you to register any personal information. For the best experience you may want to leave an emailadress. This is completely optional.
When registering with an email address we only use this information for account recovery (resetting your password) or to notify you when your account will be terminated due to inactivity. In the future we might want to send you updates and news (of course when you opt-in).
How long do we store your personal data?
We do not want to store any data longer than needed. That is why we erase any personal data if your account has been inactive for longer than one (1) year. Guest accounts will be deleted after one (1) month of inactivity. If you set up your account with an email address you will get notified in advance that your account will be deleted and you can prevent this by simply log in to the platform.

You can ask us what data we collect about you.
Right to rectification:
You can ask us to correct the data we collect about you. You can do this yourself under settings.
Right to data portability:
You can ask us to give you the data we have about you so you can use it somewhere else.
Right to erasure:
You can ask us to erase any data we have about you. You can do this yourself under settings.
Right to restriction of processing:
You can ask us to stop collecting certain data when you believe we are collecting data unlawfully. In this case you might want to prove which data we collect and why we use it unlawfully.

If you feel like your rights are violated by us. Then you can file a complaint to the Data Protection Authorities. Arcane Spellbinder is located in the Netherlands and the Data Protection Authority is 'Authoriteit Persoonsgegevens'
Who are we
‘We’ is more like, who am I. Arcane Spellbinder is a passion project from a TTRPG fan. The site is made and maintained by one person. I made this site to make Spell preparing just that bit more convenient.
